Job descriptionImplement best practices in manufacturing, lean operations, and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), production yield, downtime, and cost control. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, ISO, etc.). Strategic Planning & Execution : Drive cost reduction, waste minimization, and productivity improvement programs. Lead capacity planning, resource allocation, and capital investment decisions. Team Leadership & Development : Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance reviews, training, and succession planning. Quality & Compliance : Implement and maintain quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.). Address non‑conformities and implement corrective actions. Supply Chain & Inventory Management : Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while avoiding stockouts. Budgeting & Cost Control : Analyze operational costs and implement cost‑saving measures. Stakeholder Collaboration : Ensure smooth coordination between production, sales, and R&D teams. Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Experience : 10+ years in plant / factory operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role (manufacturing / FMCG sectors preferred). Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and automation. Proficiency in ERP / MRP systems. Leadership Skills : Excellent team management and conflict resolution abilities. Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.

- Operational Management :
Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals.
Manage, mentor, and motivate a cross‑functional team including production, maintenance, engineering, and logistics.
Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
Prepare and manage the plant budget, ensuring cost‑effective operations.
Liaise with senior management, suppliers, and customers to align operations with business needs.
