Manager, Logistics

Manage plant logistic planning, cold chain & food safety regulations compliance, and operational to ensure the functions are performed in an effective and efficient manner in term of cost, quality and speed to meet target KPI.

Ensure required operational data are analyzed to facilitate supply chain integration such as logistic requirements, and capacity.

Monitor transportation planning and execution are effective and efficient to optimize cost and on time of delivery and increase truck utilization.

Ensure all logistic planning and operational data are recorded in the Mtech & JDE system in a timely manner for efficient tracking and monitoring. Eg. POD return, weight loss, crate return, transporter payments.

Ensure the right mode of transportation is arranged for the delivery based on the products categories.

Monitor 1st and last mile truck arrival and departure to ensure adherence to schedule and feedback to transporter for any variance.

Ensure in-house truck maintenance is conducted monthly according to schedule, monitor truck fuel consumption and GPS to ensure they are in good working condition.

Review reports, monitor and provide direction / suggestions for resolution of issues.

Oversee effectiveness and efficiency of documentation and system updates in alignment with SOP / KPIs.

Monitor crate transactions records to identify potential shortages or issues, and arrange for rectification actions to be taken.

To monitor the operation process to find continuous improvement on procedures, method and effectiveness and resource utilization, including trouble shooting and resolving operational problems, as well as accurate management information and documents.

To ensure operational staff comply with HACCP, FSSC, GMP, And ISO requirements to meet the stringent quality expectations by customers and maintain product standards through training, awareness programs and high level of housekeeping exercises.

To lead and motivate subordinates to enable them to work together and cross departments effectively and productively

To ensure proper maintenance of forklift, trucks and any machinery to prevent downtime and interruption of operation.

Job Requirements :

At least 5 years of experience in Warehouse and Logistic Management with minimum 2 years in management capacity with experienced managing more than 10 subordinates.

Candidate with experience in cold chain logistics will have an added advantage.

This position is based at Sitiawan, Perak .
