KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Placement and Display : Arrange and maintain product displays to attract customers. Ensure products are accurately priced and labelled. Assist in implementing promotional displays and seasonal setups. Monitor product expiration dates and remove or replace outdated items.
- Stock Management : Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock deliveries. Conduct inventory counts and restock shelves as necessary. Prepare products for display, including tagging, folding, and hanging items. Process sales transactions using point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to policies. Encourage additional sales through product recommendations and upselling techniques.
- Promotional Activities : Plan and implement promotional activities to boost product visibility and sales. Coordinate product launches and seasonal promotions. Track the success of promotional campaigns and adjust strategies as needed. Greet customers as they enter the store and offer assistance. Provide information about products, promotions, and services. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a friendly and efficient manner. Assist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions. Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth Kedai Runcit operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or updates. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvements. Assist with training new staff members as required.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum SPM with 1 year working experience in the retail industry.Competent in writing and communicating in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Strong ability to interact positively with customers and handle various situations.Have a valid Driving License.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and perform tasks requiring physical effort.Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems is an added advantage.Candidate must be willing to work during weekends and public holidays to support the operational needs as and when required;Applicants must be willing to work at SUNWAY LOST WORLD WATER PARK, SUNWAY CITY, IPOH, PERAK.WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IF YOU WERE TO JOIN US
