The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Transportation & Installation Manager to join our team on a full‑time permanent basis at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance throughout the Engineering, Construction, Transportation, and Installation phases, ensuring all project activities are completed safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Responsible for initiating, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout of overall project activities in terms of engineering, procurement, construction & fabrication, marine spread mobilization and offshore installation for the project
- Monitor progress of project to ensure targets are met and provide solutions for issues and area of concerns
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by each project team member & subcontractors
- Report project progress along with area of concerns to higher management / project manager
- Interfacing with client, engineering, and other necessary departments to ensure project requirements are fulfilled and assist with resolution of disputes
- Guiding and assisting in subcontractor selection and award. Reviewing RFQs, TBEs and CBEs
- Coordinating with Logistics and Agents for guiding and assistance for all statutory, cargo vessels and personnel clearance requirements in coordination with various parties
- Assist with preparation of risk and opportunities analysis with project team
- Facilitate HAZID & constructability workshop
- Implementation of lessons learned from various projects
- Guiding & supervising offshore construction team in planning & execution of offshore scope of work and reviewing / approval of installation deliverables
- Guiding & supervising offshore construction team in the preparation of material / consumable list for construction and assist with procurement of same in timely manner
- Ensure design engineers and offshore construction team are meeting design guidelines and requirements with regards to installation aids, installation methods and installation criteria
- Ensure marine spread audit and close out of audit findings are completed as per schedule to ensure mobilization readiness
Requirements
