B2B Business Development Manager (Fintech or Blockchain Experience)

As a Business Development Manager, you will manage all aspects of the relationship between CipherBC and potential business clients (B2B) to strategically plan and add value to the businesses. The ideal candidate must be based in the APAC region and must be able to travel worldwide for industrial conferences or business purposes if needed.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop strategic business development planning for business expansions and OKR settings to achieve the given KPI.
- Conduct regular client update meetings, account planning, executive reviews, QBRs, and leadership updates with expected operating discipline.
- Work with clients to brainstorm ideas and understand business requirements; collaborate with the project team to design solutions and project plans to meet client needs; and configure solutions according to the functionality of the client’s source systems.
- On-board the clients : assess opportunities, develop account plans, negotiate contracts, handle technical integration, and manage post-sales account relationship.
- Manage overall client relationships and identify new business opportunities aimed at driving incremental payment volume and revenue.
- Quickly acquire knowledge of CipherBC’s technical capabilities, unique features, and customer benefits, and communicate them with confidence and credibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to scope new use cases and solutions as per market demand; proactively understand market trends and enable customized solutions for clients.
Skills And Experience Required.
3–5 years of experience in partnerships and / or business development roles.2+ years of experience at a fintech, banking, or banking service provider, with experience in the custody or payment industry.Proven track record as a highly successful, professional salesperson with B2B sales experience.Familiarity and ease with technology, B2B technology applications, and platforms.Understanding of optimizing the sales cycle from lead to opportunity to live account.Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and capable of meeting aggressive schedules.Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and managing large enterprise accounts.Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a challenging, fast‑paced environment.Recognized degree preferably in Business Management.Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams).Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Mandarin; required for liaison with native Mandarin counterparts.APAC third language highly preferred.Public speaking experience highly preferred.What You Will Need.
