Purpose of the Role
To handle import and export tasks. Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Handle full set I / E shipping document independently. Follow up import and export shipment delivery and booking arrangements for both Air and sea freight. Knowledge of the application for the Certificate of Origin and Form D if required. Ability to work closely with different internal and external stakeholders, including sales, warehouses and forwarders. To handle Customs Declaration and Documentation Filing and record. Sourcing and developing vendor / Forwarder list when required. Maintaining and updating shipment and inventory information in the system. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time. Skills & Attributes Required
Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or equivalent. At least three years of experience in a similar capacity. Good command of spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Can handle daily Job arrangement on time & accurately. Be self-motivated, initiative, well organized, with a strong sense of responsibility and to be able to work in a team setting. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Electronic Trade Declaration System. Knowledge of ERP D365 / AX2012 is preferred. Knowledge of Letter of credit Experience in handling DG cargo shipment, Halal Good shipment, and CPC inspection is an advantage.
