Junior CAM Programming Engineer

Job Summary :

As CAM Programmer, you are responsible to generate CADCAM programs for complex parts produced on 3 axis CNC milling machine and CNC Lathe. You must interpret drawings and other documentations and create CAM program that ensure productivity and quality in machining operations.

Responsibilities :

• Analyse drawings : Analyse drawings & specifications to make sure you understand all requirements.
• CADCAM Programming : With support of senior programmers, create CAM programs for complex parts for 3 axis CNC milling and CNC Lathe. You are responsible for the selection of the best tool path, cutting tools and cutting strategies. You will design your own production jigs.
• Optimization & Troubleshooting : Simulate & check your own program to make sure there is no collision, no errors and you have achieved the most optimal cutting strategy.
• In Process Quality Control & Production Instruction : With help of senior programmers, create an In Process Measurement Protocol and Production Instruction to ensure the highest quality of our parts production.

Industry Training : Fresh graduates without CNC milling experience will undergo a 6 month CNC milling training in our factory. You will run the CNC Milling or CNC Lathe machine under supervision of Senior Machinist.  This provides you with essential understanding of CNC milling and CNC lathe and the various tools and work piece holding mechanisms available in our coDescrimpany.
