Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES OF THIS JOB (list not more than 10 items)
- Learning Strategy & Planning : Develop and execute regional training strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on both short-term skill gaps and long-term capability building.
 - Needs Assessment : Partner with business leaders to identify training needs through assessments, performance reviews, and talent discussions.
 - Program Design & Delivery : Design and roll out leadership, functional, and soft skills development programs, ensuring content is engaging, scalable, and locally relevant.
 - Leadership Development : Implement leadership readiness and succession-focused programs to strengthen the leadership pipeline across the four countries.
 - Vendor & Resource Management : Manage relationships with external training vendors, consultants, and technology providers; ensure effective use of budgets and resources.
 - Learning Systems & Tools : Oversee the adoption and optimization of learning platforms, e-learning solutions, and digital tools to support hybrid and flexible learning.
 - Evaluation & ROI Measurement : Track training participation, impact, and effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and business KPIs; provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
 - Talent & Career Development : Support the design and implementation of career frameworks, competency models, and individual development plans to enhance employee growth.
 - Regional Alignment & Compliance : Ensure training policies, programs, and practices are consistent across MY, SG, PH, and ID while complying with local regulations and organizational standards.
 - Capability Building of Trainers : Mentor, coach, and develop internal trainers and facilitators to build sustainable in-house training capacity.
 
Undertake any other responsibilities aligned with the role to support organizational goals.
Education
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
Experience Requirements
At least 8 years of training and development experience in retail industry.Fluency in written and spoken English is compulsory which includes developing and delivering presentations.Discipline and self-motivator, excellent interpersonal, planning and organizing skills.Strong business acumen with the ability to link learning outcomes to organizational performance.Strong project management and analytical skills with the ability to measure training ROI and effectiveness.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural environment.Willingness to travel within the region when required.Computer Skills
