- We are seeking
- Client Managers (Auditors) in Sustainability Assurance
- to strengthen our team at the country level. This role is central to delivering independent, credible, and high-quality audits across greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, sustainability performance, and related assurance schemes.As part of a dynamic team, you will assess client systems and processes against recognized standards such as
- ISO 14064-1, ISO 14068-1, ISAE 3000,
- and sector-specific sustainability frameworks. Familiarity with RSPO, MSPO, and other voluntary sustainability standards will be considered an added advantage.
- Key Responsibilities
- Deliver GHG and Sustainability Audits :
- Plan, conduct, and report audits in line with ISO 14064-1 and other sustainability assurance standards, ensuring the robustness, accuracy, and transparency of client GHG inventories, reduction claims, and net zero strategies.
- Evaluate Environmental & Social Performance :
- Assess organizations’ sustainability frameworks—including climate-related risks, ESG disclosures, and value-chain impacts—providing clear recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct Certification & Verification Activities :
- Carry out verification, certification, surveillance, and recertification audits across sustainability schemes (e.g., ISO 14064, RSPO, MSPO), ensuring compliance with scheme-specific requirements and international best practices.
- Report & Recommend :
- Prepare and deliver high-quality audit reports, highlighting findings, corrective actions, and opportunities for continual improvement to clients and certification committees.
- Stakeholder Assurance Engagement :
- Work closely with clients, industry stakeholders, and supply chain actors to evaluate sustainability performance, credibility of reporting, and alignment with climate and ESG commitments.
- Team Leadership & Mentoring :
- Lead or participate in multi-disciplinary assessment teams, coaching less experienced auditors in sustainability assurance and sector-specific requirements.
- Client Account Management :
- Take ownership of nominated clients, ensuring excellent service delivery, proactive communication, and adherence to all certification body procedures and timelines.
- Broaden Sector Coverage :
- Where applicable, deliver audits in palm oil sustainability (RSPO / MSPO) as well as cross-sector ESG and climate assurance engagements to diversify exposure and strengthen sustainability assurance offerings.

- Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent tertiary qualification) in Environmental Science, Climate / Carbon Management, Sustainability, Agriculture, Social Sciences, or Supply Chain Management.
- Professional Experience
- : Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability, climate change, supply chain, agriculture, or environmental management, ideally with direct auditing or assurance exposure.
- Auditing Credentials (and / or) :
- Successful completion of a 5-day ISO Lead Auditor course (ISO 14001 or ISO 50001 or ISO 9001 or ISO 45001).
- Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 14064-1 (GHG accounting), ISO 14068-1 (climate neutrality), or ISAE 3000 assurance frameworks.
- Experience in sustainability / ESG verification, carbon footprint, or climate-related disclosure assurance is highly desirable.
- Sustainability Standards : Familiarity with voluntary certification schemes (e.g., RSPO, MSPO, FSC, Global G.A.P., or equivalent) is advantageous, particularly for auditors interested in high-impact sectors such as palm oil.
- Social & Environmental Auditing : Experience with social auditing, human rights due diligence, HCV / HCS assessments, or ESG risk reviews in agriculture, energy, or extractive sectors.
- Leadership & Mentoring : Proven ability to lead audits, brief teams, and mentor junior auditors in assurance practices.
- Communication : Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills; fluency in English and local languages (or the ability to work with interpreters) is required.
- Mobility : Willingness to travel extensively to client sites, balancing audit scheduling and cost-effectiveness.
- Pre-Requisite Certification Scope
- It is essential that candidates are qualified in ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Lead Auditor (COMPULSORY) and at least three (3) of the following standards / schemes :
- ISO 14064-1 (GHG emissions)
- ISO 14068-1 (Climate Neutrality)
- ISAE 3000 (Sustainability / ESG Assurance)
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
- ISO 50001 (Energy Management)
- RSPO / MSPO (Sustainable Palm Oil)
