EHS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Familiarize and understand the and other relevant occupational safety and health laws and standards, ensure that all activities at the workplace comply with regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments of the workplace to identify factors that may pose threats to employee health and safety, develop and implement risk prevention measures and safety improvement plans.
• Formulate audit plan according to risk management, conduct safety audit and solve all hazards during safety audit.
• Organize and implement occupational safety and health training programs for employees.
• Formulate and maintain Emergency Response Plans and regularly conduct emergency drills to ensure all employees know how to act in emergencies.
• Supervise the implementation and maintenance of safety and health measures at the workplace.
• Ensure that all safety equipment and protective gear are in good condition and that employees use them correctly.
• Participate in the investigation of any accidents or near-miss incidents that occur at the workplace, analyze the causes of accidents and propose preventive measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
• Ensure no hazard occurs at workplace during audit by external safety auditor or regulatory authority, solve all hazards.
• Provide regular safety reports to management, summarizing inspection findings, hazard rectifications, and overall safety performance.
