Manager - Sustainability - PMB

Responsibilities

Sustainability Draft Sustainability-related policies, procedures, framework, strategies, plans and proposals to improve PMB’s Sustainability stewardship while optimising financial and manpower resources. Manage the comprehensive review exercise and analysis on Sustainability-related policies, procedures, framework, strategies, plans and proposals to ensure they are in line with leading practices. Ensure meeting of requirements of internal and external stakeholders (Government, Regulators Shareholders, Sukukholders, UNGC, CEO Action Network, etc.). Assist the business functions and project managers to incorporate Sustainability (ESG) consideration into decision-making into AOPs, projects and operational activities. Assist business functions estimate their GHG emissions for each project (Board, MTC and MEC papers). Operationalize Green Procurement Framework and facilitate the reporting of GHG emissions by our Vendors, Contracts and Business Partners. Keep abreast of the latest trends, regulations and requirements within the sustainability sphere and its application to PLUS business and operations. Be a central coordinator with various business functions for compilation of data for all sustainability initiatives in PMB for reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Assist business functions in collating, reporting and monitoring of GHG emissions, in achieving PLUS Net Zero Target. Execute requirements as per PLUS Green Roadmap 2.0 and collaborate with Operations in the implementation of initiatives where required. Perform analysis and studies to assist business functions on Sustainability for incorporation within the organization and for commercial viability. Assist the Leadership team to execute sustainability initiatives as required. Project manage any ESG-related projects to support PLUS’s aspirations and commitments. Implement a strong sustainability culture within the organization through communication and awareness with all parties working with PLUS (e.g., Business Partners, Vendors, Suppliers). Prepare and conduct advocacy initiatives and programs to strengthen sustainability culture within the organization, the industry and the nation. Prepare, draft and coordinate Sustainability Reports and other required reports for the Management, Board and external parties. Prepare presentations for Sustainability advocacy, awards, talks, seminars, programs and engagement sessions. Assist the Commercial business in identifying commercially viable environmental-related opportunities. Develop, monitor and execute PLUS social development programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

Masters / Degree in Engineering or any Technology related field, Finance, Law, Economics, Business Administration, Environmental Studies, Social Science 5+ years experience in the areas of Strategic Planning, Management Consulting, Sustainability and Corporate Governance with a deep interest in advancing Sustainability Practices
