Overview
The iTero Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for sales of Align’s iTero Intraoral scanners in Malaysia. The individual will manage the business to achieve Operational Plan in line with company and country strategic objectives through detailed account and territory planning, including targeting plans, managing current and future distributors, establishing account relationships with customers and potential customers, supporting the educational pathway, forecasting, product demos and all sales related activities.
This role requires a proven track record of consistent on-target performance in the medical device / healthcare industry, a strong sales mindset, and a high level of business acumen. The person will build ethical business relationships with customers to drive product usage and increase market share by focusing on high-value activities.

Customer Management
- Achieve Operational Plan
- Identify and resolve customer issues and concerns
- Develop relationships with existing and potential distributors
- Develop relationships with existing and potential customers (end users)
Business Development
Define and implement a growth-oriented strategy for the assigned territoryIdentify core segments with highest profitability opportunitiesMarket iTero products as a clear differentiator from the competitionAnalyze market and competition and adjust strategies to win market sharePosition iTero as a market- and innovation-leaderProvide creative solutions to support customers in obtaining iTero ScannersTake a broad organizational view of selling and managing accounts with knowledge of competitorsSupport and Training
Maintain product knowledge in Dental / Orthodontic medical equipmentMaintain broader industry and business knowledgeParticipate in Align SEA & APAC Sales and Clinical TrainingsSupport implementation of Align’s Customer Education PathwayPrepare status reports (activity, closings, follow-up, adherence to goals)Set up training programsDeliverables and KPIs
Fulfill objectives and deadlinesAdhere to KPIs (e.g., Call Rate, Business Planning)Collaborate with team to achieve departmental and company goalsCommunicate with relevant headquarter functionsPerform other duties as assignedComply with company policies and proceduresSkills, Knowledge & Expertise
Minimum 8+ years in sales and business developmentProven distributor and indirect team management experienceExperience in medical devices preferred (Dental industry) or related sectorsProject-driven, hands-on attitudeStrong customer focus aligned with business strategyProblem solving and mediation skillsOpportunity spotting and persuasive abilitiesIndependent with strong time managementExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced presentation and negotiation skills; professional appearanceGood working knowledge of EnglishDegree level education preferred (BS / BA) or equivalent experienceIntegrity, honesty and ethical approachTeam-focused, results-oriented, high business acumenInnovative, adaptive, and professional selling skillsLeadership at personal and team levels; development focusSupport for audit processes and quality management as requiredApplicant Privacy Policy
