Executive, Health, Safety & Environment (Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities

• Support the HSSE Manager, Safety & Health Officer (SHO), and Facilities / Operations teams in planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations, promoting a hazard-free work environment.
• Conduct regular HSSE audits and inspections across business and maintenance operations to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Prepare and submit monthly HSE performance reports, including data on LTIs, safety observations, and incidents.
• Participate in and provide updates during HSSE-related meetings, reviews, and site discussions.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE initiatives such as ISO 14001 : 2015, ISO 45001 : 2015, and ISO 9001.
• Carry out daily site safety inspections, prepare reports, and assist in scheduled site safety audits.
• Conduct incident and accident investigations, prepare reports, and share lessons learned for management review.
• Track, analyse, and report QHSE performance metrics to the Department Head of HSSE.
• Assist in developing and reviewing project-specific HSE procedures and emergency response plans.
