PV O&M TECHNICIAN – Level 2 (Chargeman A0 / A1 / A4)

Job descriptionSupervise site works and support subcontractors when required. Assist in testing & commissioning (T&C) with clients or authorities (e.g., TNB, SEDA). Handle daily technical tasks and provide reports to the Operations Manager. Prioritize safety at all times during site work. Identify potential hazards and ensure work follows safety standards. Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field. Chargeman certification (mandatory) – AO. 1–2 years in solar PV operation & maintenance (fresh chargeman certificate holders are encouraged to apply). Skilled in electrical systems, PV components, and troubleshooting. (Solar PV background preferred, but applicants with solid electrical fundamentals will also be considered.) Able to work independently and in a team, physically fit for site work. Strong technical knowledge of solar systems and components. Proficiency in using monitoring and data analysis software. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections. Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform fieldwork in various weather conditions.
