QC Laboratory Assistant

Responsibilities

• Responsible for collecting and sampling of raw materials and in-process samples.
• Surface area and whiteness determination of ground white cement / blended cement / tile cement from cement mill (with immediate feedback to cement miller for SA control).
• Free lime determination of clinker & white cement when XRD is out of order.
• Sieve analysis of raw mix, kiln feed, petcoke and ground cement.
• Record all tests results in appropriate files and noting all relevant stoppages and breakdowns.
• To notify immediately to Chemist or Lab supervisor when encounter abnormality during testing.
• To maintain good housekeeping within laboratory.
• To perform other duties as assigned.
