About the Job
In this position, you will be part of the sales team based in central specifically targeting the hospital channel. You will be responsible for growing the business in an assigned territory and achieving revenue targets. This is a position for experienced salespeople from the medical devices industry looking for a position in a market-leading, fast-growing organization.
Job Responsibilities :
- Regular field visits to hospitals in the government and private sector, speaking to doctors, nurses and other healthcare practitioners (HCPs)
- Engaging customers in conversations and sharing scientific data, medical education, and keeping HCPs informed on treatments for the benefit of their patients
- Arranging Continuous Medical Education (CME) events and promoting scientific discussions
- Working with the marketing team to execute campaigns and brand strategy
- Managing existing key accounts and seeking out new prospects
- Achieving sales targets and other business growth objectives
- Maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring customer service levels are met
Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline such as biomedical sciences, biotechnology, pharmacy, biomedical engineering, or relatedMinimum of 2 years’ experience in medical device sales, particularly to the hospital channelStrong sales track record, especially with capital equipment or asset salesExcellent communication skills and a people-oriented natureResult-driven personality and drive to grow your business, while building key stakeholder relationshipsWilling to travel and visit customers on a daily basisWhat’s on offer :
