Job descriptionApplies mastery of bulk cable knowledge and experience to resolving complex issues during development. Provides training and mentorship to other professional engineers. Review and confirm the team’s daily work to ensure accuracy, including design, drawing, specs, data and reports. Review and confirm that systems and works comply with TE policy. Handle emergencies in daily work. Involve and support key process technology development, including allocating resources and providing advice, to improve manufacturing efficiency and achieve operational excellence. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering. 10 years minimum working experience in bulk cable design or manufacturing. 3 years of team management experience. Familiar with bulk cable knowledge, bulk cable manufacturing knowledge and machine knowledge. Ability to work under deadline pressure. Good communication skills, integrity, accountability and teamwork. Good interpersonal and management skills. Manufacturing & Process Development Engineering Manager

Summary :
Allocates resources, monitors bulk cable NPI schedule, and periodically reviews cable performance and the team’s work to ensure timely completion and excellent performance.
Provide leadership, coaching and training to engineers. Identify priority of new product development potentials to draft process technology roadmaps and key initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Cross-function exchange and collaboration
- Resources Allocation and Budget Control
- Adjust department resources based on work tasks and emergency procedures.
- Make and control the resource and budget for bulk cable development and further study.
- Work with Bulk Cable Engineering team including TENB team and TEDG team, to support bulk cable NPI / transfer to Penang.
