Application Specialist – Siemens Healthineers

In this role you will provide clinical training and support to customers, acting as a subject‑matter expert on‑site and / or remotely to ensure they are equipped to operate our complex equipment safely and effectively, meeting their business needs.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
- Conduct product training for customers and employees, including training for complex situations involving multiple products.
- Lead classroom lectures and laboratory sessions to ensure customers are trained to operate equipment according to safety guidelines with the highest level of satisfaction.
- Prepare lesson plans based on engineering documentation, field service requirements, and software documentation to address customers’ specific implementation questions.
- Develop complementary support training information such as quick tips, workbooks, video media, and implementation guides.
- Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams (sales, product marketing, technical support) to ensure course material reflects current product features and addresses customer inquiries, including testing scenarios.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to support and enable best services and optimize customer relationships.
Minimum Required Skills & Knowledge
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Radiotherapy, Medical Physics, or a related discipline.Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology.Strong understanding of clinical workflows and processes in a radiation oncology department.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, including strong writing skills.A team player who is meticulous, with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.Special Job Requirements
Willingness to work flexible hours, including beyond standard business hours when required.Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 75% of the time, including occasional weekends.Ability to proficiently deliver training on a minimum of 30% of the Varian product portfolio (after onboarding).Strong product knowledge to support cross‑functional teams on various occasions (e.g., trade shows, sales support, marketing activities, testing).As an equal‑opportunity employer, we welcome applications from individuals with disabilities.
