Responsibilities
- Ability to manage engagements and carry out tax advisory works dealing with domestic and international taxation
- Perform a tax review and tax due diligence including provide tax advisory in relation to M&A projects e.g. agreement review etc.
- Provide tax advisory including both domestic and cross‑border tax issues.
- Assist clients with tax controversy with the Revenue Department
- Ability to manage engagements and carry out the following works :
Tax compliance
Prepare corporate income tax returnPerform a tax review and tax due diligenceYour role as a leader
Understand objectives for stakeholders, clients and Deloitte whilst aligning own performance to objectives and sets personal prioritiesDevelop themselves by actively seeking opportunities for growth, shares knowledge and experiences with others, and acts as a strong brand ambassadorSeek opportunities to challenge themselves, collaborate with others to deliver and takes accountability for resultsBuild relationships and communicates effectively in order to positively influence peers and stakeholdersWork effectively in diverse teams within a highly inclusive team culture where everyone is supported, respected and recognized for their contributionRequirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or other related degree, Master’s degree is a plus1 – 4 years experience in auditing or taxationNew graduates are welcome for associate levelAccounting and auditing background with good tax technical knowledge and analysis skills are requiredExperience working in Big4s or professional firmsAble to demonstrate capability to work effectively in both dynamic international and local environmentsPossess good organizational skills and able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlinesSelf‑motivated and able to work independentlyExcellent command of English in both writing and speaking skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsDue to volume of applications, we regret only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
