QC Engineer

Location : Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Minyak, 14100 Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang

We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team.

To Assist QA Department Head in QA operation monitoring ensure QA daily work flow are smooth.

You will play an important role in : -

• Oversee quality control & assurance to ensure well implementing and achieving. QC&A includes incoming performance, internal performance & outgoing performance.
• Ensure competence of QA Inspector team to perform daily QA / QC inspection activities & meeting the QMS, EHS & CSR Management System and medical device requirements.
• Oversee incoming part inspection system and liaison with supplier on problem solving and root cause analysis with regards to quality issue.
• Carry out supplier audit regularly to ensure purchase material in accordance to specification or established quality plan.
• Identify, monitor, control process non-conformance. To be actively involve in the investigation and troubleshooting activities in relation to process and product non-conformity.
• To liaise with customer on quality and related issue as well as to initiate and follow up on effective corrective and preventive action for customer.
• To be actively involve in process and product development activities to ensure continual improvement.
• Prepare & review Monthly report, identified top scrap part and co-ordinate improvement action.
• Understand and involve in Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001), Medical (ISO & CSR requirement.
• Coordinate and execute the periodical Internal Quality & Environmental actively and provide recommendations for improvement based on audit findings.
• Conduct SOP review assessment to ensure compliance towards related
• regulation, ISO standards and company policies. Execute ESHMP program to ensure it is successfully implemented.
• Assist QA Department Head in establishing, implementing and maintaining the efficient & effective Manufacturing in term of quality related.
• Assist QA Department Head in completion of ISIR, PPAP, II, Material Specification, etc.
• Authorize stop lines and recall products from all locations. Issue a non-conformance report to the process owner if non-conformities are found. Initiate, track, and close Supplier CAPAs
• Stop or on-hold delivery of supplier due to product quality.
• Any other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role, you will need to have : -

1. At least 2 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.

Diploma, Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree, or equivalent
