Sourcing Senior Manager – Digital (Global IT Contracts)
We are looking for a senior sourcing professional with 10+ years of experience to manage global digital and talent spend, ensuring value for the organization while mitigating risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Support key collaborators to drive greater value for BP.
- Drive an agile and innovative approach to supply market engagement.
- Enable speed to market for new ventures, mergers & acquisitions.
- Champion advanced sourcing processes, techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with suppliers and category leads to maximise value delivery and risk mitigation.
- Deploy standard methodologies and utilize market intelligence to run extraordinary bids, delivering significant value.
- Lead negotiations on high‑value & complex deals.
- Ensure compliance to FBT Procurement controls and contract template structures.
- Manage a team of sourcing professionals, including workload, career development and mentorship.
- Coach the team on negotiation strategy, innovation, lessons learned and knowledge sharing.
- Align the Strategic Sourcing Digital Team with the Supply Strategy Digital Team.
- Maintain efficient processes using tools and systems.
- Report team effectiveness through metrics, including value delivery to the VP of FBT Procurement S2C.
- Develop a strategic sourcing approach to access innovation and advantaged supply.
- Align diverse collaborator requirements.
- Work within cross‑segment, regional and joint venture models.
Essential Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree (preferably in procurement or business) or equivalent experience.Minimum 10 years professional experience in procurement and strategic sourcing.Experience working cross‑culturally and internationally.Ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization.Collaborative and engaging working style.Resilient in dynamic environments.Familiarity with Ariba Source to Pay and Salesforce.Essential Job Requirements
