Head Of Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic‑minded Head of Finance to join our team at Newbillion Precision Metal Sdn. Bhd. This full‑time role will be based in our Batu Kawan, Penang office and will play a crucial part in shaping the financial direction and growth of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Formulate and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives, providing financial insights and analysis to support business planning, investment, and expansion decisions.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the management team, driving profitability and operational efficiency through budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning.
• Lead risk assessment, compliance, and governance, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and MFRS / IFRS reporting standards, and establishing internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
• Oversee all financial accounting, management reporting, and consolidation activities, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, cost control initiatives, and CAPEX evaluation, while negotiating financing arrangements and driving cost‑effective financing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and BD teams to align financial insights with operational objectives, overseeing product and project costing, margin analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Enhance financial processes and automation through the implementation of new ERP systems and digital tools, supporting supply‑chain financing and procurement optimisation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team to ensure high performance and succession readiness, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
