This position is based in Istanbul or Ankara and directly reports to the Head of Global Admissions with a dotted line to the Managing Director, GEA Türkiye.
Location
Can be based in Istanbul, Ankara, or Izmir.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing GEA’s global admission responsibilities and strategy in the Turkish & Azeri markets.
- Active engagement with the GEA global admissions team, GEA Türkiye team members, recruitment partners, and partner institutions
- Ensuring applications are screened for qualifications and genuineness before submitting to GEA partner institutions
- Ensuring the GEA admissions systems are accurately updated and maintained
- Regularly join training sessions conducted by GEA partner institutions from various countries
- Working closely with the GEA Global Admissions Director for the continued improvement of GEA admissions systems and processing
- Ensuring GEA recruitment partners and students in the region are receiving relevant updates and new documents on time
- Maintaining a data-driven approach to admissions and monitoring enrollment trends and conversion rates.
- Maintaining maximum levels of competitor awareness, product knowledge, and market intelligence
- Traveling occasionally to attend recruitment and outreach activities, seminars, conferences, meetings, and training events to build strong and lasting relationships with GEA team members and partners
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in the international education / recruitment industry admissions experience in TürkiyeStrong organizational and system management skillsProven track record of working collaboratively in a matrix governance modelStrategic-minded and sales-driven, with a strong drive for results, and pressure-resilientProficient with technology and reporting programs / systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with our valued recruitment partners and institutionsExemplary customer service skills and ability to foster a customer service ethic within the work teamWillingness to travel occasionally within Türkiye or abroadEligibility to work in the hiring location without sponsorshipPersonal experience studying abroad or working in existing Turkish study abroad agencies considered a plusDo Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, international relations, or related areasStrong working knowledge of the following languages : English and Turkish.
