Head of Sales (MNC Solar company)

As Head of Sales, you will lead and grow our residential solar sales division, driving performance and achieving ambitious growth targets. Your core focus will be managing the sales pipeline, coaching the team, and ensuring consistent results.

You will directly manage and develop the Sales team, providing them with the tools, training, and support needed to excel. While your primary role is strategic leadership, youll also step in to support key sales activities from advisory calls to site visits and deal closures.

Reporting to the Country Manager, this high-impact role works closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams. You will also lead initiatives to improve conversion rates, shorten sales cycles, and drive rooftop solar adoption in Malaysia.

• Sales Pipeline Ownership : Oversee the entire sales funnel across Malaysia, from lead qualification todeal closure, ensuring strong performance against KPIs.
• Team Leadership : Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
• Hiring & Onboarding : Recruit and train new sales hires, equipping them with the necessary product knowledge, sales processes, and CRM proficiency.
• Sales Enablement : Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to create tools, materials, and workflows that improve efficiency and conversion rates.
• Growth Initiatives : Drive lead generation through outbound campaigns, referral programs, and strategic local partnerships.
• Customer Engagement : Provide hands-on support during key stages of the sales process customer calls, site visits, and documentation to close high-value deals.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Align with regional and functional teams to ensure consistent strategy, messaging, and scalable operations.
