Process Safety Engineer

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Safety Engineer to join our Offshore Design Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process safety management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct process safety reviews and hazard assessments for offshore facilities, including process design, equipment selection, and operational procedures.
• Develop and implement process safety management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL studies to identify and mitigate process safety risks.
• Review and approve process safety documentation, including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on process safety issues throughout the design and construction phases.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure that process safety considerations are integrated into the overall design.
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in process safety performance.
• Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to process safety in the offshore sector.
