Coordination and Planning :

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Shipping Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that shipments are delivered to customers in specified quantities and on time, while managing the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments with forwarding agents. You will also oversee the proper administration of shipping documents for both imports and exports.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with the planner in the shipment planning process to prioritize consignments, enhancing the effectiveness of production and shipment plans.
Provide booking confirmations to cultivate buyers' expectations regarding lead times.

Importation Preparation :

Conduct weekly checks with suppliers on shipment arrangements against the shipment schedule and checklist.

Apply for marine insurance at least 14 days prior to the Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) by monitoring the import shipment schedule.

Manage supplier expectations regarding lead times and ensure timely provision of relevant shipping documents to avoid extra charges (e.g., port storage, detention, demurrage).

Documentation Oversight :

Monitor and guide the documentation team to ensure all import and export shipments are well arranged according to the schedule.

Qualifications :

Minimum Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.

In-depth knowledge of shipping processes, time management skills, and self-motivation.

Experience :

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in shipping and logistics in F&B industry or palm oil industries.

Position open for junior executive as well.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay : RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
