Job descriptionLead and mentor a team of 6–7 finance professionals across accounting, reporting, and controls. Build a high-performance culture that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Develop talent pipelines and succession planning within the finance team. Act as a strategic advisor to commercial stakeholders, providing insights to support pricing, contracts, and business growth opportunities. Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Regional leadership to optimize profitability and resource allocation. Deliver impactful financial analysis to influence decision-making and long-term strategy. Drive automation and process simplification to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices across financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles. Champion change management to support the organization's transformation journey. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent). Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a Controller or senior finance leadership role. Strong technical expertise in compliance, accounting standards (IFRS / MFRS), and financial governance. Proven experience leading mid-sized teams (6–7) with a track record of developing talent. Strong business acumen with ability to partner cross-functionally and influence stakeholders. Experience in a services, retail or financial institution environment preferred.
