Technical Architect - E-Commerce

As a Technical Architect, you will take on a leadership role in designing and delivering the next-generation features of our e-commerce platform, focusing on the core e-commerce features : the cart, checkout, and order processes. This role is part of the Strategic Marketing team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.

What does the role involve?

As a Technical Architect, you will :

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing architectures for the e-commerce platform -
• Lead the development and evolution of the platform to support new use-cases, evolution of the underlying systems, and traffic growth.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain architectural standards, including best practices for data modeling, APIs, and system integration.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, identifying the most suitable frameworks (e.g., Spring, Node.js, Python, or others) to balance performance, scalability, and business needs.
• Act as a technical expert in e-commerce solutions, ensuring the platform meets business and performance requirements.
• Stay hands-on with the codebase when needed, providing guidance to development teams, managing technical debt, and ensuring high-quality standards.
• Drive compliance with IT security, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements for platform operations.
