Overview
We are looking for an operator to further strengthen our Production department.
As an operator, you are required to control or operate entire chemical processes, following standard operating procedures and instructions of the Boardman, in order to make sure production works constantly and efficiently and the organization produces enough material to supply customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage weighing in and weighing out of isotank / RTC / trucks / vehicles on the weighbridge after regular working hours of the weighbridge operator
- Check, execute and follow up / adjust the production activities at the field with instructions from the control room as per factory procedures with an efficient, safe and environmentally friendly manner
- Dispose of filter cake waste and empty filter bags into the correct waste bin
- Perform loading / unloading activity as and when needed for logistic activities
- Perform housekeeping in the plant
- Perform additional tasks as and when needed / requested by superiors
- Execute, check, follow up and adjust the production activities from the control room or in the field using factory procedures
- Report on the production processes to the supervisor
- Assist the operation department on ad-hoc matters
- Ensure sample taken is a representative sample in regardless of liquid or powder sample
- Ensure sample taken are labeled with accurate information – e.g. date of sampling, product identification, batch identification, sampling point
- Perform ingredient and processing aids charging
- Actively involved in plant activities
Qualifications & Requirements
You have possess at least SPM / "O" Level / Diploma in any fieldSPM equivalent or higher with 3 years relevant experience / relatedProven successful experience of at least 3 years in the related fieldMust have knowledge & able to operate DCS systemKnowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel will be assetExperience in using a forklift is an assetAble to work shiftWilling to work during festivals and / or call-in to back-up colleaguesApplicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, KlangNext to your skills, it is your drive and motivation that will make all the difference!
