Overview
Analyze existing manufacturing workflows; identify and implement process improvements, automation, and reengineering opportunities. Conduct time and motion studies, value stream mapping, and line balancing to support lean initiatives.
Production Optimization
Plan and optimize production layouts, equipment usage, and material flow to increase throughput and efficiency. Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Production teams to ensure product manufacturability and standardization.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process inefficiencies and quality issues.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to support defect reduction and process control.
Supply Chain & Production Planning
Support supply chain and logistics improvements by streamlining material flow and inventory management.
Coordinate with planning teams to ensure efficient scheduling and capacity utilization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years’ industrial engineering experience, preferably in electrical equipment manufacturing.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and quality control methodologies.
Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ERP / MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
