Role Overview
The Commissioning Manager (CxM) will lead and manage Physical Security and ICT commissioning programs for data center projects. This is a client-facing role requiring strong planning, scheduling, team leadership, and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage commissioning program : schedules, planning, resource allocation
- Lead Cx Levels 1–5 (Design Review, FAT, SAT, IST, Operational Readiness) for security & ICT
- Serve as primary liaison with clients—lead meetings, provide updates, resolve issues
- Oversee documentation : commissioning plans, test reports, deficiency logs, status reports
- Manage and coach Cx engineers and subcontractors on-site
- Ensure design intent alignment and compliance with OPR and industry standards
- Drive handover process, operational readiness, and staff training
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management7+ years experience in commissioning (preferably data center) with security & ICT systemsExcellent client engagement, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with commissioning tools (CxAlloy, Bluebeam) and standards (ISO 27001, TIA-942)Strong leadership, organizational, public speaking, and report-writing abilitiesWillingness to travel for site visits
