Job descriptionTechnical Leadership : Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Team Building and Management : Recruit, mentor, and lead an engineering team, promoting innovation and collaboration. Project Management : Oversee timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure on-time, within-budget project completion. Product Development : Work with various stakeholders to define requirements and deliver payment solutions. Quality Assurance : Implement rigorous testing practices to maintain high product quality. Technology Innovation : Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies as appropriate. Budget Management : Develop and manage the engineering budget efficiently. Stakeholder Communication : Act as a liaison between the engineering team and executive leadership, providing updates on project status and challenges. Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in payments or fintech. Technical Expertise : Deep understanding of development methodologies, architecture, and infrastructure; proficiency in modern languages and frameworks. Leadership Skills : Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with strong mentorship skills. Project Management : Excellent skills in managing complex projects within budget and timelines. Communication : Exceptional ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving abilities. Adaptability : Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
