Job Description
- Drive strategic customer collaboration across supply chain and planning
- Influence commercial decisions through data-driven insights.
- Lead customer engagement initiatives focused on order-to-invoice efficiency, inventory management, and service KPIs.
- Coordinate with the commercial team and distributors to ensure alignment on planning, replenishment, and shipment execution.
- Extract and analyze data from internal systems to identify gaps and propose commercial actions (e.g., SKU rationalization, volume adjustments).
- Monitor shipment vs. planned volumes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
- Manage customer expectations and lead monthly engagement meetings to align on joint initiatives.
- Support improvement projects including automation and process simplification.
- Act as a strategic liaison between internal teams and customers, ensuring proactive communication and alignment.
- Handle escalations related to product shortages, delivery issues, and East Malaysia shipments.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Customer Engagement Manager should have :
5+ years of experience in customer engagement, customer service, or supply chain roles within a multinational company (FMCG preferred).Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into business recommendations.Experience with SAP and Excel; familiarity with dashboards and planning tools.Background in demand planning or commercial planning is a plus.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Curious, proactive, and able to work independently with a sense of urgency.Comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders.What’s on Offer
