WordPress Developer

Visible One - Malaysia

Join Visible One as a passionate WordPress Developer with 2-5 years of hands‑on experience building and customizing WordPress websites. You will develop responsive, high‑performance websites, manage CMS customizations, and ensure smooth integrations with plugins and third‑party tools.

Base pay range

MYR 3,500.00 - 5,000.00

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
Build responsive and SEO‑friendly websites optimized for performance.
Customize existing templates and plugins to meet client requirements.
Troubleshoot, test, and resolve website issues and bugs.
Collaborate with designers to translate UI / UX into functional WordPress pages.
Work with the back‑end team to integrate APIs and databases.
Manage website deployment, updates, and hosting configurations.
Ensure cross‑browser, cross‑device compatibility and W3C‑compliant code.

Job Requirements

2-3 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer.

Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and WooCommerce.

Solid front‑end skills : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.

Experience with relational databases (MySQL).

Basic knowledge of PHP and custom WordPress functions / hooks.

Familiarity with Git / version control.

Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize websites.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
