Job descriptionDraft and review legal documents including pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and opinions. Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments. Represent clients in courts and tribunals at all stages of proceedings. Client Advisory & Communication Attend client meetings, case briefings, and negotiation sessions. Court Appearances Prepare and present oral arguments effectively before judges. Bachelors Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university. Called to the Malaysian Bar (or relevant jurisdiction) with valid practicing certificate. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in litigation practice. Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken). Excellent advocacy, drafting, and research skills. Ability to manage multiple files and work under pressure. Leadership qualities and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
