Job Description
BROAD FUNCTIONS :
- Plan, coordinate and follow-up sputter system start-up / conversion activities and related process documentation.
- Audit sputter parameters and practice periodically, including online SPC and procedure conformance.
- Lead sputter process related issues, troubleshoot with the shift process team in sputter process sustaining, troubleshooting and improvement to achieve sputter utilization (down time), yield and quality goals.
- Lead Sputter Process Improvement Projects (SU / STT / Cost / Quality / PPH and others), including new products / machines / process qualification.
- Lead, supervise and coach / train process technicians, including engineering specialists and characterize technicians.
Responsibilities
Regular : Responsible for sputter process related issue troubleshooting, working with the Shift process team to sustain sputter processes and improve utilization and quality.Lead, supervise and coach / train process techs, including engineering specialists; share PMR / DS sputter process and yield improvement knowledge with the team.Monitor sputter parameters, including online SPC, and ensure conformance.Oversee sputter machine start-up and process characterization for new products and process changes.Oversee new products / machines / process qualification and sputter process improvement projects (SU / STT / Cost / Quality / PPH and others).Engage in FMEA and safety practices; understand and perform jobs safely and follow health rules.Irregular responsibilities : assist in sputter yield related troubleshooting; collaborate with Anelva yield team to sustain yield improvements and trajectory toward yield goals; support media magnetic baseline improvements and recipe tuning for process stability and repeatability; qualify new products.Qualifications
Material Science and Engineering degreeVacuum Technology related studies or thesis is preferredAbility to communicate in English (spoken and written)Additional Information
