Senior Procurement Executive / Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Procurement Executive / Engineer at Mewah Group, you will play a crucial role in the company's purchasing and procurement operations. This full-time position, based in Pulau Indah, Selangor, Malaysia, is responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods and services to support the company's manufacturing and logistics activities.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable pricing and terms
• Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and issuing purchase orders
• Monitor and optimise inventory levels to meet production and distribution requirements
• Analyse and report on procurement data to identify cost savings and process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations
