Assistant Manager, Business Development

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and strategic Assistant Manager – Business Development to help drive revenue growth, expand the client base, and support key business initiatives. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the execution of sales and partnership strategies. The ideal candidate will be analytical and relationship-focused, with a solid understanding of business operations and customer needs. Responsibilities

Assist in developing and executing business development strategies to achieve company goals. Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and market analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and client pitches. Track leads and sales activities using CRM tools and provide regular reporting to senior management. Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align business goals and campaign efforts. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning. Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to build the company’s presence and reputation. Support contract negotiations and coordinate onboarding for new clients or partners. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (MBA is a plus). 3–5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct market research and analyze business data.
