Interior Designer

Responsibilities

Will be given chance to express talents and ideas to kick-start a career portfolio in Interior Design. Responsible to draw and develop floor plans and new design floor plans. Basic knowledge and understanding is essential. Determine the client’s goals and requirements of the project. Sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical layouts. Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures, etc. Responsible for translating the design to fulfill company or client’s requirements while integrating the needs of marketing, sales and manufacturing capability. Prepare final plans using computer applications. Work involves creating, designing, modeling and producing prototypes. Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs. Place orders for materials and oversee installing the design elements. Visit after the project is completed to ensure client satisfaction. Qualifications

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or a related field, ideal for entry-level opportunities for fresh graduates. Demonstrate proficiency in Interior Design principles, Space Planning, and Architectural Drafting to contribute effectively to project execution. Exhibit strong technical skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp for creating detailed designs and 3D renderings. Possess a solid understanding of material selection and be capable of managing projects efficiently from concept to completion. Demonstrate excellent client communication skills to effectively understand and translate client needs into design solutions. Ability to communicate fluently in both Bahasa Malaysia and English to collaborate with local clients and project teams. Benefits
