Senior Executive, Finance (Construction)
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts and be responsible for month-end / year-end financial closing activities, journal postings and prompt submission of relevant reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure all FA Listing, Accruals, Prepayments, Profit Recognized, Subcontractors and Supplier invoices are processed and posted accurately into IFCA. Resolve accounting discrepancies and highlight irregularities.
- Check and verify collections / payments from / to all accounts receivable / payable. Ensure bank reconciliation in IFCA is performed in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management slides, annual budget and periodic forecast exercises. Analyze and review Project Ledger against construction budget.
- Prepare audit schedules requested by the auditor and respond promptly to audit queries; draft annual audit reports.
- Liaise with tax consultants for annual tax return submissions. Handle tax audits and other regulatory bodies, including preparation of relevant schedules and supporting documents.
- Liaise with bankers on reviews and manage overall treasury function including cashflow reporting.
- Assist and lead team members to enhance their skills and knowledge and manage team performance to ensure smooth work flow.
- Ensure internal controls, policies and procedures are followed and financial reports are maintained in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards.
- Handle accounting software issues as they arise with IT / GIT or system vendors to troubleshoot problems.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Prepare the audited financial statements, quarterly report and all statutory reports.Prepare the management report on a timely basis for management decision making.Perform financial and variance analysis of the Group results on a monthly and ad hoc basis.Coordinate the overall conduct of audit and liaise with internal and external auditors for completion of audit.Compliance with statutory requirements and enforcement of policies, guidelines and procedures.Update with the latest applicable accounting standards and developments in accounting.Observe and comply with all Acts, laws, articles of association, rules and regulations affecting the Company’s business; stay conversant with statutory updates.Display teamwork and work closely with other senior staff at all times.Perform any other tasks as instructed by the Supervisor from time to time.Qualifications
