Overview

The Project Manager in Allianz Technology Malaysia, Regional Delivery Center (RDC) is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various projects to ensure they remain on schedule, within scope, on budget, and uphold quality standards. Assisting the Head of Department in effectively allocating resources, balancing project demands with available capacity. Creating and executing project work plans, revising them as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prompt coordination with business units, technical team, governance team and service provider on project implementation plan.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and provide direction and support to the project team.
• Identify and report project issues, slippage of tasks or milestones, and project risks and facilitate timely resolution.
• Eliminate impediments and actively address issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the project.
• Provide timely reports on project status, budget spending, risks and issues to enable early visibility into project performance for better decision making by the authorized person or committee.
• Promote and take accountability for project quality and opportunities to improve delivery.
• Manage project changes, ensuring any changes to the project baseline are managed through a change request and all impacts are considered.
• Adopt an agile and flexible approach to work with a high level of professionalism and conduct.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with organizational impact.
• Ensure PMO practice, documentation, approach and governance processes are applied consistently.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
