Dissolved Acetylene Operator

As a Dissolved Acetylene Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the acetylene plant. This includes refilling cylinders, conducting pre-fill inspections, and maintaining daily operational records. You'll also perform maintenance and assist in achieving production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards. Your work will directly support our commitment to providing reliable and high-quality products to our customers.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Perform safe and efficient refilling of dissolved acetylene cylinders, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Conduct daily plant operations according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), including pre-filling checks and leak detection.
• Record and submit daily refilling reports to your supervisor.
• Inspect incoming cylinders to ensure they are fit for refilling before placing them on the rack.
• Assist in achieving daily production goals and maintaining ISO standards.
• Adhere to all local statutory and regulatory requirements as well as internal management and quality systems.
• Support maintenance activities during plant shutdowns.
• Perform maintenance on dissolved acetylene cylinders as needed.
• Promote a strong safety culture by actively participating in safety initiatives and reporting hazards.
• Maintain equipment reliability and uphold high housekeeping standards.
