Requirements
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in forwarding operations, with strong knowledge of Royal Customs procedures.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is an advantage.
- Proven customer support experience in a similar role.
- Strong phone handling skills and active listening abilities.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to adapt to different personalities and situations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Capable of working independently and completing assignments within given instructions and standard practices.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties :
Handle declarations for K1, K2, K3, K8, K9, ZB1, ZB2, barge shipments, DG cargo, and PKFZ cargo.Liaise with clients and agents regarding HS codes and provide duty / tax estimates upon inquiry.Experienced in EDI, Dagang.NET, and Port VGM submissions.Monitor, coordinate, and follow up on cargo movements, including lorries and drivers.Oversee import and export shipments to ensure smooth operations.Collaborate closely with the sales team to fulfill customers’ operational requirements.Assist customers with shipment bookings, including slot owners, ocean carriers, co-loaders, and truckers.Ensure all mandatory documentation is properly filed for each job with reference to the quotation.Track and manage container movements for import shipments, including empty container collection.Supervise and monitor daily tasks of operations staff.Provide timely reports as required.Benefits
