As a Virtual Sales Development Representative, you will execute daily outbound phone calls / emails, contact decision makers (C-Level), build quick rapport, and assess needs. You will also execute outbound prospecting campaigns to source, contact, and engage prospective customers interested in evaluating our client's products, and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process to achieve or exceed monthly sales quota.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily outbound phone calls / emails, contact decision makers, build quick rapport, and assess needs
- Qualify opportunities and handle objections
- Conduct C-level conversations with senior executives in prospective accounts
- Explain our products / solutions and value proposition to businesses of different verticals and sizes and explain how they address client needs
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns to source, contact, and engage prospective customers interested in evaluating our products
- Collaborate closely with client to create a territory plan-of-attack, including target companies, target prospects, and messaging / talk-tracks
- Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
- Develop and codify best practices and sales workflows for interactions with prospects
- Research and build new and existing accounts (e.g. adding contacts, sending regular emails, coordinating strategic discovery meetings)
Required Skills (Must Have)
1-2 years of experience in Cloud based IT sales is advantageousTech savvy is a mustExperience in consultative solution selling in B2B environment for technology productsOutgoing and confident in inbound / outbound phone sales with a great phone mannerStrong experience speaking with C-level Enterprise clientsThrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environmentHistory of quota over-achievementKnowledge of CRM systemAnalytical mindset and go-getter attitude; self-motivated to achieve personal goals and goals set for the teamProven success in generating leads and experience cold calling and presenting sales pitchesOrganized with pipeline management, time management, and prioritization skillsBachelor's Degree / DiplomaAny business sales, or technical degree is a plusSeniority level
