Talent & HR Manager - Jakarta or Malaysia.

We are looking for a hands‑on Talent & HR Manager to join our growing Southeast Asia team.

This role will be pivotal in driving recruitment and HR operations across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, ensuring that our people processes are efficient, structured, and aligned with Artefact’s regional growth.

You will partner closely with senior leadership, hiring managers, and the global People team to manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to HR operations and employee engagement. The ideal candidate has prior experience within a professional services or consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process for key roles across Malaysia and Jakarta, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and managing offers.
• Partner with leadership to understand hiring priorities, define role requirements, and design effective recruitment strategies to attract top‑tier talent (especially Data Consultants, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists).
• Build and maintain structured salary grids and compensation frameworks aligned with market benchmarks.
• Lead on headcount planning, team structures, and organisational design discussions, ensuring alignment with business needs and budget.
• Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline, building long‑term relationships with potential candidates and external partners (universities, agencies, and networks).
• Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring journey from first contact to onboarding.
