Job descriptionHandle AR for export and import transactions, ensuring compliance with trade terms (Incoterms, LC, TT). Monitor foreign currency receivables and liaise with banks on collection status. Support documentation for customs, freight forwarders, and international clients when required. Manage credit limits and risk exposure for both local and overseas customers. Reconcile payments from e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopify, etc.) with sales reports. Monitor platform deductions (commissions, advertising costs, refund / return adjustments). Ensure accurate recording of online sales and settlement cycles. Prepare weekly / monthly AR aging reports and collection forecasts. Assist in month-end closing by reconciling AR balances. Support audits by providing required AR documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Executive to manage and oversee customer collections and AR processes across local, international, and e-commerce channels. The role involves ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, monitoring outstanding balances, reconciling accounts, and supporting cash flow management.
Job Responsibility :
Accounts Receivable (AR) Management :
- Prepare and issue customer invoices for local, international, and e-commerce transactions.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections and follow up on overdue payments.
- Maintain accurate records of AR, receipts, and customer interactions.
- Apply customer payments to the correct accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
