Procurement Specialist

The role is responsible for managing local procurement of Services categories (Professional and General Services) within the SEA+ cluster, including strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and relationship management. Supports consolidation of requirements and ensures quality, cost-effective supply through aligned procurement strategies with business partners.

As the

Procurement Specialist

under the area of

Global Indirect Procurement,

you will

• Recommends and executes procurement strategies, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and proper documentation for local, regional, and global needs.
• Resolves issues related to vendor performance in delivery of goods and services. The role also supports the Payment Team in procurement related concerns on payments, closing documents, etc.
• Regularly maintains purchasing related analytical reports. Supports decision making process of their supervisor and internal customers.
• Provide legal counsel on employment law, data protection, competition, consumer protection, anti-corruption, and corporate governance matters.
• Manages existing supplier base in his / her respective area and maintain effective communication with vendors
• Monitor compliance with corporate procurement policies, code of conduct, operating guidelines, local regulations and visibility for corporate audit as well as JSOX requirements.
• Supports sourcing activities by assisting with requirements, supplier negotiations, and commercial agreements to optimize quality, cost, and service.
