Sales Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the bakery shop, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient sales transactions, and maintaining the shop's cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales :
- Upsell and promote bakery products to meet sales targets.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash / card transactions accurately.
- Process online or pre-order pickups efficiently.
2. Product Management :
Replenish display shelves and ensure products are attractively presented.Monitor product freshness and quality, removing unsellable items as needed.Take stock and inform the team of low inventory or popular items.3. Hygiene and Safety :
Ensure the shop floor, counter, and displays are clean and organized.Follow hygiene and food safety guidelines at all times.Handle bakery items with care to avoid contamination.4. Teamwork :
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shop operations.Assist in receiving and storing stock deliveries.Requirements :
Education : Minimum SPM or equivalent.
Skills :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Basic math skills for handling transactions.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Other Attributes :
