Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Legal Department, including screening and attending to incoming calls, scheduling, and coordinating meetings and appointments. Assist in the compilation, preparation, and organization of documents related to litigation matters, corporate exercises, and other legal proceedings. Maintain an up-to-date report of all active legal matters and arrange for the proper handling and logistics of legal documentation. Prepare and update monthly reports on outstanding litigation cases, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up. Conduct legal research on relevant issues to support the legal team in advisory and litigation matters. Act as a liaison with internal departments to facilitate the smooth delivery of legal services and support. Manage day-to-day legal administrative tasks including filing, document preparation, mail handling, faxing, photocopying, document distribution, and binding. Prepare and process payment requisitions for legal-related expenses, such as stamp duties. Safeguard confidential legal records and ensure proper handling of sensitive information. Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Legal Studies. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in a legal or corporate environment. Experience in handling litigation documentation, legal correspondence, and legal administrative processes preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
