• To assist Manager to manage renewals within the turnaround time
• To assess and review renewals with claims and provide recommendation if to renew or decline
• To underwrite new marine risks within the underwriting authority limit and ensure compliance to underwriting guidelines, treaty guidelines and Authority Grid
• To provide appropriate professional services, advice and products to clients and stakeholders
• Response to customers / agents and internal customer enquiries
• To provide guidance to branches / marketing staff on product knowledge
• To be responsible for the administration and operation of Marine underwriting department
• To adhere to AMLA provisions and other relevant compliance matters
